300th Game for BUCC - estimated 500 games in total of community cricket

We congratulate Garry Yeomans on the occassion of his 300th game for Buwood Uniting Canterbury. Garry also played an estimated 200+ games for his former club Blackburn South Bennetswood going back to Under 10s.
We spent some time at his celebratory game at Cooper Reserve in his LOC6 fixture against Salesian. Garry opened the batting and he and his good mate Neville Read (64 ret) got his team off to a great start. After Garry was tempted into lofting a ball to deep mid on to hole-out off the spinner Abhinav Agarwal, we spoke with Garry and his family, Finona, Caine and Jade who had all come down to celebrate the day. Salesian proved too strong on the day winning the match comfortable, but the day either way belonged to Garry. PlayHQ Scorecard.
