Mike Jansen: Blackburn North United Cricket Club legend - celebrating 700 games

Mike Jansen from Blackburn North United Cricket Club will celebrate his 700th game this weekend, against Holy Trinity in the Round 13 Menzies and Mackay Shield Match at Hayes Park. On behalf of the ECA communithy, the Executive extends its warmest congratulations to Mike on this outstanding achievement. We wish Mike all the best. Mike was generous enough to record an interview with us ahead of the milestone match. It's a great listen - we hear about his journey from the Under 14s in 1978 to now and how playing with his son Peter every week keeps him motivated to continue to play.  Mike recently took his 1,300 wicket and has made over 11,500 runs for his club too. We encourage all Blackburn North United Cricket Club members and supporters to get to Hayes Park in Preston and celebrate this magnificent achievement!
