Junior Season Update

As term four starts, we wish to extend a warm welcome to our ECA Junior Community as we are about to embark on a new season. We would like to thank all our junior volunteers in all our clubs for the incredible amount of work being done to get things set up for the new season.
ECA Juniors Mixed cricket will now commence on the weekend of 18-20 October, one week later than originally planned.

This is due to a range of reasons including grounds requiring further preparation, clubs still finalising their team nominations as they become aware of late changes (either in or out), then the ECA Junior Committee being able to do the final gradings for all age groups, then formulate a fixture for each section.
We have encourage clubs, where they can, to play practice matches against other clubs or intra-club on the weekend of 11-13 October. 
Alan Shepherd and Leigh Esposito have kindly offered to assist ECA in running the Juniors Mixed 2024-25 season, starting with completing the grading and fixtures for the season.
They will be in contact with clubs regarding gradings. They will also lead the Juniors Coordinators meeting which has now been rescheduled to Monday 14 October, at Burwood Cricket Club as planned, from 7.30pm.
