North Balwyn's Vishwa Ramkumar representing Australia in the Under 19 Mens team
We're wishing former North Balwyn Cricket Club Junior Player Vishwa Ramkumar all the best as he represents Australia in the Under 19 mens Test side as they take on India. Vishwa picked up the India opener in the fourth over of the current match. He also picked up 4/79 in the First Test dragging Australia back into the match and three in the second innings. Although Vishwa is now playing Premier Firsts with Dandenong, he has kept his North Balwyn connection - continuing to play in their Sunday Mercantile team. He came through the North Balwyn Junior Program - starting as an 11 year old in the RJ Barker Shield through to the Under 16s (AG Grace Shield) in 2021-22. What a great story and thanks Charles Cohen for sharing. Photo ©Chris Mirabella Vishwa in action for North Balwyn in the 2021-22 Under 16 Grand Final at Myrtle Park against Northcote United.
