What started off as a rough batting innings for STC, having lost two early wickets, was quickly salvaged by the ever consistent Tom Bach (56) and Josh Petersen (39). But the Clifton Hill bowlers were still causing issues with Aaron Lanning (3/56) and Jesse Parlane (2/29) finding regular wickets. What turned the STC innings into a great innings rather than just a good one, was the valuable contributions from the lower order; Russell Flint (25), Dion Di Battista (21), and Joel Holmes (27) were able to push STC's score past 200 to finish 10/211.
What seemed like a decent start to the chase from Kishan Gnanamanikkam (15) and Jesse Hodge (29) quickly fell away. As Holmes (2/26 from 15.5 overs), Di Battista (3/52), and Lawrence Colman (3/28) tore apart the Clifton Hill batting line up. Despite some late power hitting from Lanning (34 from 29 balls - one 6, five 4s), Clifton Hill were dismissed for just 127 - 84 runs shy of the chase.

Trinity Willison 2/188 def. Mt Waverley Catholics 10/186
* There are some scorecard errors so some comments may be incorrect
Mt Waverley Catholics got off to cracking start, lead from the front by captain Mansh Bhatti (94) who was finding runs all around the park in an innings that included eleven 4s and three 6s. but once his partner Tom Petronik (14) was caught, ending the 81 run partnership, Mt Waverley Catholics sturggled to stop the wickets that were flowing from Zach Schloeffel (3/45) and Roy Hughson (4/46). Bhatti was the second last wicket to fall, caught and bowled by Schloeffel, cruely just six runs short of an impressive century, but helped put up a defendable score of 10/186.
Unfortunately defendable wasn't enough against the top of the table Trinity Willison, as Max Yakubowski (57), Calan Jackson (52*), and Will Howell (58*) each scored half centuires to pass Mt Waverley Catholics score just 2 wickets down, and within 50 overs.
