The ECA is now planning the 2023-24 Kookaburra T20 Cup and we are now calling for nominations from our Clubs.
The details of the competition are:

Entry is open to all ECA clubs irrespective of whether your club plays Turf or Synthetic or which Grade and the entry fee is $100 + GST per Club.

The competition will be organized into pools of 4 teams and play 3 round robin matches with the winner of each pool progressing to the Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and a Final. The make-up of the Pools and Rounds will depend on the entries received but will be limited to 32, in the event there are less than 8 pools then the best placed teams finishing second on points or run rate will go through to the quarter finals. Finals will be hosted but the higher placed Club based on points or net run rate.

The prize money will be paid as follows: Quarter Finalists - $250, Semi Finalists - $500, Runner - Up - $1,000, Winner - $1,600 and is a direct result of the tremendous support of our naming rights sponsor, Kookaburra Sport.

At least one ECA umpire will be appointed to each game at $70 per umpire per game which will be invoiced to the competing clubs.

It will be mandatory for all clubs participating in the competition to wear coloured shirts in all matches in which they play. Shirts will be able to contain more than one sponsor logo, however they must meet the current dimension rule. Pink Kookaburra balls will be provided for each participating team and the cost will be invoiced to each competing club. Cost of Balls for finals will be covered by the ECA.

The Match Committee for this competition will be Neil Dalrymple (President), Greg McLeod (Turf Manager) and John Franklin (Synthetic Manager).

The playing dates are as follows, with matches to commence at 5.30pm.

There has now been created a new competition within PlayHQ in which your club can accept the nomination to join this competition. Please provide the ground to be used.
Please note any previous nominations will not carry over to this new competition so you need to accept this invitation.
