Bulleen Cricket Club - seeking expressions of intererst for Club Coach

The Bulleen Cricket Club is seeking expressions of interest for a Club Coach, either playing or non-playing, for the 2024/25 season and beyond.

The Bulleen Cricket Club First XI are currently competing in Dunstan Shield, the highest level of the Eastern Cricket Association.

Our club also has three other senior teams striving to rise up the grades as well.

Our club has a recently renovated oval with turf and synthetic training facilities that are of the highest standard. We have a strong culture that is family orientated and attracts a wide variety of diverse cultures. We encourage playing hard, tough and successful cricket to foster a 'winning culture' across all levels of cricket.
The senior coaching role will suit a quality cricketer looking to build their leadership skills and lead a developing club filled with many young, exciting and talented players.
We are looking for a candidate who is highly driven, disciplined, passionate about cricket and with a strong playing background.
The ideal candidate will display the following traits:

  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills
  • The ability to develop and maintain relationships with players of all ages and abilities
  • Ability to co-ordinate and run bi-weekly training sessions across both pre-season and regular season
  • Experience at a high level of cricket with extensive knowledge of and passion for cricket
  • Experience in developing technical and tactical cricket skills across a variety of ages and abilities
  • Responsibility for a selection policy in conjunction with grade Captains
  • A willingness to drive both an expectation of high standards at our Club, both on and off-field
  • Coaching accreditation: Community Coaching Accreditation (ie At least Level 1)
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • A fierce competitor who strives for success
  • An ongoing commitment to ensuring the prosperity of our Club into the future
