Be Part of the Future of Women’s and Girls’ Cricket with the ECA!
The Eastern Cricket Association (ECA) is excited to announce that from Season 2026–27, it will independently manage its Senior Women’s and Junior Girls competitions.
This marks an exciting new chapter for women’s and girls’ cricket within the ECA, creating greater opportunities to strengthen female player pathways, increase participation, and enhance development opportunities, across both the senior women's and junior girls' cricket competitions. Importantly, it will foster the growth of inclusive, connected, and thriving cricket communities throughout all ECA clubs.
With a shared vision for growth, participation, and community engagement in female cricket, the ECA is committed to working alongside clubs to build a sustainable and successful future for the game. Season 2026–27 presents an ideal opportunity for clubs to become involved and help shape the future of women’s and girls’ cricket within their communities and across the wider ECA region.
