Deepdene Bears seeking applications for role of senior professional player for season 2024-25

Deepdene Bears Cricket Club is seeking applicants for the role of senior professional cricketer for the upcoming 2024/2025 season. The Deepdene Bears Cricket Club, nestled in the charming suburb of Deepdene, between Kew and Balwyn, is the oldest continuously playing club in the Eastern Cricket Association.

We boast a rich history, earmarked by our recent centenary year where the club celebrated 100 years of success on and off the field. Our club currently has six senior men's turf teams, two women's teams, juniors, and Woolworths Blast, offering a cricket for players of all ages and skill levels.

The club is seeking a top-order batsman to join our club and help elevate our 1st XI to the next level. Preferred candidates will have demonstrated exceptional and consistent performances in a high standard of cricket (premier, sub district and local 1st XI cricket). We will offer a competitive remuneration package tailored to the experience and skills of the ideal candidate.

With a club that has almost doubled in size over the last three years, there is no better time to jump on board and become a key member of the bears.

If you’d like to find out more about our club, or to chat further about the opportunity, please contact club vice president Lucas Watt
on 0457 056 501

NB, all applications will be made confidentially.
